Key Takeaways:
- Carla talks about curating Vision in alignment with the Will of God vs curating a vision that advances your life alone. Being a Christian is about using our life to point to our King - exchange our hopes and dreams for Kingdom goals.
- Vision Board vs Posture Board. What we want versus what posture we need to take on to make room for God’s will.
Building a Posture Board:
- Scripture at the center is important. It is a promise that carries you through the year.
- Take your Reflection of the past year, and create a wishlist, then PRAY over it and surrender it to God. *There’s nothing wrong with desires and hopes - alignment of dreams to God’s will is more powerful than hopes alone!* In this space, God can align your heart to your purpose!
- Finding your Word from God (ie, Joy, Nurture, etc) based on scripture is a great anchor! Knowing where God wants you to focus can help you build out your Posture for the upcoming year. It’s also an amazing tool in the battle for your mind!
- Our callings are different, and we can do His Will wherever we are planted.
- Working out the will of God is transformative to your life.
Affirmation
I can and I will walk in the will of God.
